Mondoweiss

When people feel that Israel is unfairly judged, they quickly look to the British media to blame. However, that is only the beginning. Today I came across a website called Mondoweiss of an American origin which takes the hatred of Israel one step further. What is hard to believe is this website was set up by a Jew named Phillip Weiss to 'promote dialogue' but all I see are anti-Israel comments.
Tablet Magazine in 2010 labelled Mondoweiss as an anti-Israel blogosphere, in which I completely agree. If we look through the article titles we see a pattern emerging:
"Israeli police use new force on Palestinians as protests mount in support of hunger strikers"
"Israel closes investigation of those responsible for al Samouni family massacre, no legal action taken"
"A weekend  of violence against Palestinian activists that the UN will never get around to condemning"
"Media ignores eight Palestinian hunger strikers as they near death"
Now answer me this; Are any of these articles promoting dialogue? Are any of these articles pro-Israel?
The answer is no. The articles don't even mention why these Palestinians are in prison in the first place. The truth; because they were components in terrorist attacks.
Mendoweiss' comments policy includes; no racist comments, no Nakba or Holocaust denial, no profanity, no personal attacks. Clearly this is under no strict regulation. Besides the articles being one-sided, so are the readers it attracts. 'TalkBack' for example,on May 3rd commented on an article saying; "imagine all the “warnings” Jews received in Nazi Germany. Do you blame them, too?" Obviously the founders of this website has a different definition of what comes under Holocaust denial or an anti-Semitic attack than me. Apparently according to 'TalkBack' it was the Jewish people's fault that the Holocaust took place, because we had warning.
I have written this blogpost not only to share my fury of this anti-Israel website, but more importantly to further publicise it and gain support by defending the truth. If you do have spare time please read some of the articles and comments and defend what is important to you.
